We are guided by innovative techniques that take into account the richness of the environment

The world we live in today faces an unprecedented scarcity of resources. It is our duty to address it by reclaiming reusable resources and returning them to create sustainable systems.

In doing so, Water & Beyond takes on unique business opportunities that promote healthier communities and environments. Through our team of experts, we offer customers a unique and comprehensive approach.

We are physically present in the United Arab Emirates, Brazil and Saudi Arabia, connecting strategic parts of the world to bring us closer to the regions that bridge the gap between new business and field studies. Our expertise focuses mainly on the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.

Our solutions

We are guided by innovative techniques that take into account the richness of the environment. What we use to solve your problem:

  • Syntropy

Theoretical and practical set of a model of agriculture in which natural processes are translated into agricultural practices both in their form, function and dynamics. We thus speak of regeneration through use, independence from inputs and irrigation, provision of ecosystem services, regulation of the microclimate and favoring of the hydrological cycle. In other words: the regeneration of ecosystems.

  • Micropropagation (tissue culture)

Ecophysiology plays a key role in ecological work, providing information about the physiological responses of organisms to the environment, the influence of climate on populations and communities, the relationship between physiology and species… distribution, plant-animal interactions, and strategies for the conservation and management of natural resources. This information is essential to understand and preserve ecosystems in a sustainable way.

  • Paleogenomics

Paleogenomics can contribute to ecological work by reconstructing past ecosystems, studying past extinctions, understanding species evolution and adaptation, monitoring current populations… environment. These applications help inform conservation strategies, management of endangered species, and sustainable environmental preservation practices.

Message from the founding partners

The company is an old project. It is with pride that Water & Beyond has materialized, in an international way, the studies resulting from a solid career work of our father: Sady Ricardo dos Santos Filho, agronomist engineer, researcher and passionate for nature and its arts. Our father was president of the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa), patenting, producing and commercializing several products – always attentive to the preservation of the environment. He also directed the non-governmental organization Center for Environmental Research, Preservation and Development (Cepeda), also in Brazil.

Thus, Water & Beyond inherits his desire to carry on projects he could not conclude, we, as his children, follow the mission of ecology and environmental care, seeking to prevent the aggressions caused by the human footprint and carrying in our veins the zeal for the preservation of Mother Nature.

One of our key consultants

Ernst Götsch

Ernst is a Swiss farmer and researcher with more than 40 years of experience and achievements in the field of sustainable agriculture. Throughout his life, Götsch has developed techniques that reconcile agricultural production with landscape regeneration. The set of principles and techniques he developed has become globally known as Syntropic Farming, and its practical application is evident on Ernst’s farm (Bahia, Brazil), with the recomposition of 410 hectares of degraded lands, the
resurgence of 14 springs and the reappearance of species of native fauna. Besides his farm, he does workshops and consultancies around the world.
